Right on the outskirts of Raleighwood in Cary, North Carolina is our ROCKIN cool commercial photography studio, Revolution Studios! Our photography studio specializes and excels in Weddings, Portrait, Boudoir and Pin-up, Commercial, Headshots, and Modeling Photography and has been impressing fans around the Triangle and beyond with their modern end edgy style for over eleven years!

Our receiving area is boasting of our latest photography wows. So take a minute when visiting to relax on our sleek leather couch  to and let us show off some of our greatest art… Photography by a dynamic photographers and husband wife team Dan and Somer Hadley! So ready to take another step into the studio? You may want to make a pit stop to drop off your wardrobe selections in our large and welcoming dressing area. Make sure to take a look at our wicked ‘Hall of Fame’ on the walls there where our clients have voiced their love for our photography and work! You may even get a peek of a few local celeb notes!

Now that you have your things set aside let’s take a brief tour of our facility! Let’s start by taking a sneak peek of the hair and makeup room which is decked out in a funky pin-up themed décor! It is fun and is just a part of where the magic happens! Revolution Studios is proud to offer styling services to enhance your sessions! Yes ladies and gents, we will bring out the VERY best you with hair, make-up, wardrobe consultations, and personal shopping services!

Next up, let’s check out Studio One which is home to several preset sets and additionally where we do headshots and use seamless sweeps and backdrops. You will never know quite what to expect to see in our commercial photo studio as we are constantly evolving and furniture /props keep moving in and out! This is another reason that our services stand out! Revolution Studios is super passionate about keeping things fun and fresh in their backgrounds and sets.! Keeping new items or renovating old keeps our photographers exploding with new ideas which brings so much inspiration artistically for their sessions!

Studio Two is just down the hall which is home to several of our environmental sets. From modern couches, sexy chaises, chandeliers, and even a queen sized bed for our boudoir division…you are going to love how modern and stylin’ our photography sets are in our studio!

Next up let us introduce you to our team who is most likely in our large back office where we work in a collaborative team environment…

Dawn is our amazing Digital Retouching artist and better be nice as she is the Digital Diva is who in charge of finessing your images to give it the final wow factor! Get ready to JAM as she will probably be rocking out to some Bon Jovi while hard at work! From airbrushing, to artistic embellishing, album design, and calendars…Dawn has set the bar in Digital Retouching and we love how she continues to push herself! Clients love how much heart she puts into what she does and so will you!

Next up you may meet Jenny who is our Commercial Specialist! Jenny works hard with businesses throughout the Triangle who are looking for great commercial photography. From corporate headshots that aren’t so “corporate” to artistic interior and exterior shots, she has it covered to make sure that your company’s brand is properly represented through the images that are on your website, marketing, and print materials. This sassy red head we have yet to see have a bad day and her excitement is contagious…come in or refer a local business and get a dose!

Up in our front office you may be welcomed by Angela who meets with clients during their post print consultations. Angela is extremely helpful and patient when assisting clients in prints and product selections from their session. (Trust us, it will be hard!) Additionally Angela works as our Wedding Specialist and spends time networking with other wedding vendors and heads marketing efforts to educate brides about our Wedding Photography Services. Her personality is outgoing and professional and style is glamorous! She is sure to make an impression with her product knowledge and kidness just as much as her 4 inch heels she is forever rockin!

Last but not least you will most definitely see owners/principle photographers Dan and Somer Hadley running around the studio. This husband wife team are not only inspirational as artists but as a couple with the true love they are constantly oozing for each other! Don’t be surprised if you see them sneak a smooch between sessions or hear them calling each other pet names. These two stay smitten! They share a love for photography and their passion for what they do shows in their work but their love for one another and their five children is always first! Yes guys we said five!

Dan , AKA “Daddy Dan Boy”, is most likely to be seen rockin’ the latest trends in wardrobe and sporting a vicious mohawk but this bad boy Hollywood look is just a cover as Dan is the most polite and professional gentleman you will meet in the industry! Outside of his wicked skills behind the camera Dan also is the Rockstar who does all our web development and design work! Can this guy get any more talented?

Somer is the business Starlet and wears just about every hat at the studio, an everyday superstar and multi-tasker!  Everybody loves SOMIE!!! You will most likely see her buzzing around the studio in her fun wardrobe and fishnets, camera in one hand and iphone in the other.  She remains constantly on a mission! When she is not wielding the camera she may be working her magic in hair and make-up or doting on Dan J

Bruce and Alanas wedding in Asheville NC

Well after 2 years of their wedding being booked, we finally headed to Asheville NC to capture the big day for Bruce and Alana. With major storms in the forecast and Alana's idea to head to the Arboretum on the Blue Ridge Parkway for photos following the ceremony we knew we may have a challenging day ahead of us.  Up until she walked down the aisle we had down pours off and on but all kept their cool and we overcame the small obstacles (i.e. getting her to the front of the church to make her entrance)
During the ceremony the rain below over into blue skies and  it really was a beautiful day and a GORGEOUS wedding. We headed as planned to the Arboretum and it was stunning, just has Alana had described. We had a great time with the Bride and Groom along with their fun spirited wedding party as we captured love, friendship and fun! From there we headed to the reception at the Grande Bohemian. Now if you have not heard of this hotel it is a MUST SEE and MUST STAY in Asheville! We were in a photographers Heaven! I have linked their website above so check it out! The collection of art they have there alone is breathtaking BUT back to the wedding details :) The set up was breathtaking and the food exquisite but we would not expect anything different from Alana! She had a wonderful help from Asheville Event Company and in all our years in the biz we were very impressed by both their planning and service! After a fun an active reception we stole the bride and groom away for a few intimate pics before we said our thank you's and good byes. Here is a sneak peek from their day! Enjoy!
